Swivel will give insight into the general state of XR, talking about current developments in 360 Video, VR and AR, from Headsets to Software, Platforms to SDKs. In addition to the presentation, they will have multiple headsets available to try out some of their experiences including the Oculus Quest, Mirage Solo, Magic Leap One and Vive Focus.

Alex Pearce is the Director of Immersive Technology for Swivel where he also manages XR development and production. Before Swivel, Pearce spent two years as a director and cinematographer at Jaunt XR.

Bring your own gear or play with the loaner equipment belonging to BostonVR and BIG. We will have at least one HoloLens, several Vives, an Oculus Rift, loaner machines, a GearVR, and tons of peripherals. Dr. Jacobson and BIG staff will be available to help you get started, if you are new.
I'll also bring a Magic Leap for those who can't make the June 2nd Leap Dev Jam.
